The Zion Christian Church traces its beginnings to 1913, when its founder, Reverend Samuel Mutendi, received his calling. From its headquarters at Mbungo Estates in Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe — home of the great House of God, the “City of Peace” — the church has grown into an international family with parishes across Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, the United Kingdom and beyond.
Under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Nehemiah Mutendi, the church is devoted to fighting sickness and poverty: building schools, supporting orphans and scholarships, developing the Defe Dopota shrine, and raising a university for the nation.
Scripture teaches that “pledges should be made before God Almighty” (Psalms 50:14) and that His kingdom should be built here on earth. Every pledge — for a new church block, the Youth League, the brass band or the schools — is an act of worship and a brick in that building.
This portal lets every member, at home or in the diaspora, honour their pledge simply and safely, and receive a receipt in their own name.
